Singer-songwriter Karli June, is emerging as one of Canada's standout country music artists. With an authentic sound and relatable lyrics, Karli has amassed over 2.2 million streams and video views. She’s thrilled to have recently released her smoldering new single “Still Make Cowgirls” via The Orchard.
Written by Karli June and award-winning songwriter Deric Ruttan (who also produced the song), “Still Make Cowgirls” portrays a woman embracing her authentic self. With the track Karli unapologetically aims to empower women with the cowgirl spirit - heart, substance and passion.
“Still Make Cowgirls” is the second song from Karli’s forthcoming EP, and follows a breakout year. Her duet “Feel Like Home” featuring Ryan Langdon reached #12 on the Australian country radio charts, and top 30 at Canadian country radio. The song earned accolades including iHeartRadio's "Future Star”, Rogers Media's "One to Watch", and Stingray's "Trending Track”.
Karli was recently nominated for four 2024 CMA Ontario Awards including nods for “Feel Like Home” as well as Female Artist of the Year and Breakthrough Artist of the Year.
Her debut EP Where You Come From received three CMA Ontario Award nominations and a Producer of the Year win for Karen Kosowski. Karli has performed at CCMA Country Music Week, festivals such as Boots & Hearts, CMW and the SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival, and has shared the stage with The Washboard Union, Dierks Bentley, Brett Kissel, Terri Clark, and Gord Bamford.
