The Wiggles have redefined children’s music - and country music itself - with their groundbreaking new album ‘Wiggle Up, Giddy Up!’. Featuring never-before-heard songs from Country Queens, Dolly Parton and Lainey Wilson, bold collaborations with country’s biggest stars such as Morgan Evans, Dasha, MacKenzie Porter, Jackson Dean, and even a trailblazing anthem featuring the masked singer himself Orville Peck - this album is more than a collection of songs, it’s a cultural moment.
The Wiggles join forces with country star Orville Peck for ‘Friends of Dorothy’. A song blending playful lyrics with a compelling message of love, acceptance and belonging.
Grammy-winning country star Lainey Wilson lends her powerhouse vocals to Let’s Ride!, a high-energy anthem co-written by Lachy Gillespie, the Purple Wiggle. Let's Ride brings a fresh twist to the beloved children's group’s repertoire. Teaming up with the country star, The Wiggles infuse their signature playful energy with a toe-tapping, boot-stomping rhythm that encourages kids and parents alike to get up and move.
In a fun mash-up, the song seamlessly transitions into Fruit Salad, one of The Wiggles' most iconic classics, blending Wilson’s beautiful vocals with the group's cheerful harmonies. The fusion of the two songs creates an upbeat and engaging musical moment, celebrating both nostalgia and new sounds in a way that delights fans of all ages.
Meanwhile, country star Jackson Dean features in an emotional and heartfelt ballad by The Wiggles with ‘It’s Tough Being Three Years Old’, about childhood’s challenges and joys.
“This song is so good and hits home for parents, too,” says Lucia Field, the Blue Wiggle. “It reminds us how big the world feels when you’re little.”
Adding an extra layer of warmth to the song, Simon Pryce’s (Red Wiggle) young son Asher is also featured in the track. “Having Asher be part of this song was a very special moment for me as both a musician and a father,” said Simon. “This is something we’ll cherish forever.”
A special reimagining of The Wiggles' signature tune, ‘Rock-a-Bye Your Bear’, features Canadian country singer MacKenzie Porter. This stunning rendition is set to become a fan favourite on the new country album, with the music video also premiering today.
Beyond these acts, ‘Wiggle Up, Giddy Up!’ boasts an unprecedented lineup, including Dasha, Troy Cassar-Daley, Travis Collins, The Wolfe Brothers, Lucky Oceans, Kaylee Bell, and even a special feature from Australian country icon, the late Slim Dusty.
