Fresh from their 10th Golden Guitar Award win, The Wolfe Brothers, release their new single with Australian country music legend, Lee Kernaghan. The track, “Country is Coming To Town”, is a collaboration between these two leading country acts. It is also the follow up to The Wolfe Brothers singles, “Little By Little” and “Beer In A Bar”, both impacting #2 on the National Country Airplay Chart.
The Wolfe Brothers, comprised of Nick and Tom Wolfe, have released 6 studio albums to date, been awarded 10x Golden Guitars and amassed streams in excess of 20 million. “Country Is Coming To Town”, the new single, was penned by Nick Wolfe, Tom Wolfe, Rich Redmond and Eric Halbig; and produced by Rod McCormack.
Launching the single at their recent Tamworth Music Country Festival show, Nick shares, “We are absolutely pumped to be joining forces with our damn good mate Lee Kernaghan for this high energy anthem, this is the kind of song we want to hear blaring out of utes around the country rolling into town for a good time! We've already started playing it in our live show and the rowdy response has been exactly what we'd hoped for. Music doesn't always have to be rocket science, sometimes it's just high octane fun and that's what we are going for with Country is Coming To Town".
As Tom discusses “As soon as we wrote Country is Coming To Town we knew we had written something fun! To us it felt very Lee Kernaghan influenced, so we thought - let’s ask him to be on it!”
Lee Kernaghan confirms, “It's been awesome to be back in the studio with my damn good mates, The Wolfe Brothers. I am really proud to have been a part of this collaboration on their new single, Country Is Coming To Town, from their forthcoming album. Looking forward to everyone hearing it on the radio and also playing it live with boys when we hit the stage together.”
