Working on it since the release of his massive hit ‘Concrete Angel,’ ‘Drive’ (#1 Debut in the U.S Chart) is an album that covers various styles representative of Gareth’s incredible talent. Calling it: “the best work of my career,†the album’s first single ‘U’ featured Bo Bruce and shot up the charts to number #1 in the US iTunes Dance chart.
Next, is the second single, a collaboration with U.S superstars Krewella - ‘Lights & Thunder.’ A match made in Stereosonic heaven! Gareth Emery & Krewella utterly destroyed dancefloors on the Stereosonic 2013 National Festival Tour.
Here their collab (follow up single to ‘U’), ‘Lights & Thunder’ shows off a slightly more energetic side to the album with its big anthemic vocals by Krewella combined with heaving synths and pounding drums. The track retains a melodic quality throughout, but ultimately takes its place as a full on club banger.
