Kaz James established himself in early 2012 as one of EDM's hottest new stars, ignited by his debut release 'Kids,' which gained instant support in the form of strong radio play from Pete Tong and Andi Durrant, could be heard on dance floors the world over and was a favorite of some of EDM's biggest hitters, including Tiesto, Kim Fai, SHM and Guetta. It also was the reason for Kaz signing with his long term co-sorts at Onelove and was quickly followed by the launch of his own 'That Music' imprint.

The impact of 'Kids' saw Summer remix requests coming in: beginning with a featured remix on the Kaskade & Skrillex collaboration 'Lick It,' which received global praise with over 400,000 listeners on YouTube. Then The Gossip asked Kaz to remix 'Move In the Right Direction' which was released in August 2012 and has again received strong air play on Radio 1 as well as massive club support and a number 5 position on the UK Pop Charts.

On the live front, Kaz's talent and steady rise have not gone unnoticed, as indicated by being asked to perform a season-long residency at Pacha Ibiza, playing for David Guetta, Pete Tong and Erick Morillo and culminating in David Guetta inviting him to be his official support act for his David Guetta October Asia Tour, which will see Kaz playing in venues across Asia including Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Kaz will end 2012 with the release of his second club release, ‘Drums’ which has already been part of David Guetta's sets globally, and is also featured in an unbelievable remixes by Maison & Dragen, Static Revenger, Ivan Gough (fresh of worldwide success with ‘In My Mind’) & Sweden’s Oskar. Kaz will also be performing in front of crowds of 60,000 in Sydney, Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane on the main stage of the Stereosonic Tour, alongside Tiesto, Calvin Harris, Avicci, Example, Laidback Luke and others.
