Having spent the latter part of 2014 tucked away in the studio further developing their unique brand of post-disco, Melbourne trio Passerine, fronted by dynamic vocalist and classically trained viola player Phoebe Dubar, have re-emerged to bestow the new single ‘Set Me Alight’ upon us.

Their debut self-titled EP, released in February 2014, was met with widespread radio airplay and blog-love from Australia and abroad; Canadian taste-makers Hilly Dilly listing the G.L.O.V.E.S. produced single ‘Paris Morning’ as one of their “Top 25 Genre-busting Tracks of 2014”. Summer 2014 saw them play alongside Tkay Maizda and Willow Beats at The Hills Are Alive, Bernard Fanning and Claire Bowditch at Live on the Lawn at Werribee Mansion and the support slot for disco legends Boney M’s dual sold out Melbourne shows.

‘Set Me Alight’ is accompanied by an official music video courtesy of director Jess Hallay and foreshadows a run of live dates prior to the official single launch at Revolver Bandroom in February.
