West Coast duo THEY release their new single “Say When” Mind Of A Genius duo drop first single since debut “Nu Religion” EP. 

“Say When” is the new single from the Los Angeles based and Mind of a Genius signed duo Drew and Dante, known collectively as THEY. 

The guitar forward song is the pair’s first release since their debut October 2015 ‘Nu Religion' EP, a three track effort that has since racked up over 93 million streams on Spotify and Soundcloud combined. ‘Nu Religion’ immediately gained support from the leading purveyors of culture including Hypetrak, Beats1, Complex, BBC Radio 1, and The FADER who instructed their readers to “get invested.” 

The success of the EP led the pair to join Bryson Tiller on his worldwide tour, which concluded with two consecutive sold out nights at Manhattan’s historic Radio City Music Hall. As their first ever run of live shows, THEY. brought immense amounts of energy to the stage, securing them new fans around the world. In addition to collaborating with the electronic greats ZHU and Skrillex, with whom they put out “Working For It” which has been streamed over 70 million times, THEY. have spent countless hours in the studio with the production legend Timbaland who continues to invest in their talents. 

Today’s release, “Say When,” draws references from Rage Against The Machine and carries the message that positive change comes from working together. The single sees the pair exploring previously uncharted territory and pushing their own musical boundaries to sounds beyond their electronic and RnB roots. The single, to be featured on their debut full length HYENA, sets a precedent for what’s to come on their next Mind of a Genius release.
