Emilia de Poret set her mind on a singing career in a young age, enrolling in Sweden’s leading music school and thriving creatively. Her raw talent was impossible to ignore, a catalyst to collaborations with high profile producers, international press coverage, the production of three successful albums, and earning the title of “Countess of Pop”.

Emilia’s third album, Pick Me Up is produced by top songwriter/producer Arnthor Birgisson, under the Aristotracks label. Arnthor is an internationally acclaimed producer behind some of the hits of Jennifer Lopez, Enrique Iglesias, Shane Ward and Janet Jackson, amongst others. The album was mixed by Phil Tan who has mixed top hits for Rihanna, Gwen Stefani, Ne-Yo, Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson, and more.

Emilia has unique range as a singer, which is reflected in her forthcoming album, where deeper, more personal ballads can be found amongst high-tempo clubby tunes. Like Emilia’s personality, Pick Me Up is a high-energy album, an amalgamation of intense emotions ranging from deep melancholy to fierce excitement. “Emilia’s voice is incredibly easy to work on, it is like a musical instrument, sure in its tune… Emilia is both classic and ultra-modern in her personality, which is reflected in the sound we have created together”, says Arnthor. .

The album title single, “Pick Me Up”, took the 1 chart position in Sweden during summer 2008, where it sold triple platinum. It was subsequently released in Spain in the spring of 2009 and achieved a consistent high position in the Spanish radio charts (Los 40 Principales), ranking at 6 in November 2009. Emilia and her dance troupe headlined the Los40Principales Festival tour, performing their high-energy show to crowds of over 15,000 people.

During the fall 2008 Emilia took Australia by storm as she travelled to promote Pick Me Up. She received unprecedented coverage in the Australian media, and was chosen to co-host 3 episodes of the hit Australian music program Video Hits, which has also been co-hosted by the likes of Pink, Coldplay and Pussycat Dolls.

Emilia’s current album also features collaboration with Japanese hip-hop star Verbal (Teriyaki Boyz, M-flo) on the track “This Ain’t a Love Song”. Emilia has just returned from Tokyo where she was shooting the video of the track with Verbal, to be released early next year.

Aristotracks is poised to release the video for Emilia’s new single “Now or Never”, directed by Marcus Lundin with spectacular 3D effects by Visual Art. The video features Emilia as a robot and integrates hi-tech aesthetics with a glossy edge, symbolic of Emilia’s futuristic yet glamorous style. Emilia has an extraordinary voice, an infectious positive personality, an unrivalled fashion sense and an unbridled passion that has driven her towards steadily achieving international praise.

Stay tuned for the 2010 release of her tracks in the UK and across Europe, featuring collaborations with Planet Funk and a myriad of other talented artists.
