THERE’S A NEW URBAN POP SUPERSTAR IN TOWN…

INTRODUCING CHRIS SEBASTIAN

DEBUT SINGLE F.L.O.W RELEASED ON FRIDAY 4th July 2011

MEDIA RELEASE

Monday 27th June

Chris Sebastian is set to release his debut single F.L.O.W on Monday 4th July which will soon become one the catchiest songs you will hear on Australian radio in 2011. Chris Sebastian was born in Melbourne and raised in Adelaide and took an interest in music at a very early age. Chris has grown up seeing first hand the incredible ride and journey his older brother Guy Sebastian has endured in the Australian music industry.

The single, F.L.O.W is an infectious urban pop song, celebrating Chris’ love for music and having fun. Chris hooked up with Jhay C after he was recommended to him by Brooke Addamo (Owl Eyes). The combination worked incredibly well, the pair had a great chemistry, the result was F.L.O.W, an extraordinary pop song which will be stuck in your head for days.

“I honestly believe Chris is at the forefront of what urban is Down Under,” Jhay C says. “We’re determined to push boundaries and bring the Australian urban scene to a new level.”

Chris was 13 when he realised that music was what he wanted to do with his life. Soon after, Chris started writing songs. He does everything by ear. He’s never had a singing lesson or been taught to play the piano or guitar.

After his brother Guy won the first Australian Idol, the producers approached Chris, wanting him to be on the show. But he decided to follow his own path, forging his own way in the music world.

“A lot of people think it’s been easy with my last name,” Chris says, “but it hasn’t been. I need to prove myself as an artist. And, of course, I have a lot to live up to, though our music is very different.”

Chris is inspired by artists such as Brian McKnight, Ne-Yo and Michael Jackson.

Chris is represented by 6° Management. http://www.6degreesmanagement.com.au

F.L.O.W will be available digitally and serviced to radio on Monday 4th July
