Electro-pop producer and songstress Louise Love is celebrating the January 15 release of her single ‘Get Back’ and Tantric Shuffle EP with a string of tour dates and a playful video release.
Raised in Fremantle WA, Louise has always written lyrics as a way to process life. When she began producing electronic tracks, her compositions started to take on a life of their own. A move to Tasmania in 2013 saw her electro-pop project begin to make ground. Fed by Hobart’s vibrant scene, she released her debut album First Day in 2014, and made it to number 7 in the Amrap Air-it Charts. Now based in Melbourne, Louise is upping the tempo with her self-produced EP – Tantric Shuffle - a release spearheaded by the cool quirk of its single, ‘Get Back’. With a bittersweet groove and rhythmic vocals, ‘Get Back’ is a playful pop song about trying to become a kinder person.
The EP is launching in late January and includes shows in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Fremantle. With support from fellow electronic acts such as Astral Skulls, KT Spit, S>C>A>P>S, and Simona Castricum, it’s an event for electronic music enthusiasts and anyone fired-up by underground pop.
