Since joining Neighbours in 2006 as 'Ringo Brown' Sam Clark has become one of the most loved and recognizable characters on the long-running show. But whilst acting is very important to him, Sam's first love is music, and on November 13, Sam will release his debut single 'Broken'.
Sam Clark has come a long way from his nation-wide Dolly Magazine audition that landed him an initial 3 month contract on Neighbours. Now, at just 21 years of age, Sam has a Logie nomination and over 300 Neighbours episodes under his belt, and is ready to embark on a new journey that will see him enter a new phase of his career. His debut album is nearing completion and is due for release through PLW Entertainment in the New Year.
Sam is a singer/songwriter/guitarist/keyboardist whose songs are beautifully melodic with thought-provoking lyrics. Music is not a new interest for Sam, who has been writing songs and playing guitar since the age of 15. Sam has a varied array of musical tastes and influences, sighting Birds of Tokyo, Bon Jovi, Cold Chisel, The Temper Tap, Slipknot, Jeff Buckley, David Gray and The Kooks, to name just a few.
"Music is what defines me. It's the language I speak and how I communicate best."
