The Gracemakers are a beautiful expression of sweetness and love aimed directly at the heart. They deliver a country tingled folk rock experience for those who prefer to stop and smell the flowers and scratch beneath the surface. They hold on to traditional musical values, whilst meshing together their own version of alternative folk rock.

Blanket is an impassioned song about friendship, unconditional love and the quest for personal freedom. It expresses an observed journey of life seen through the seekers eyes; a poetic exploration of boundaries and liberation. What makes The Gracemakers special is their real love for people. “We do not want to make music that is unpleasant for the ears or soul. We want to connect with people deeply, uplift and inspire.”

The Gracemakers deliver something thoughtful and beautiful. This is the treasure; this is the gift.

Kent works with Koorie artists in custody, was born in Townsville and is a proud descendant of the Barkindji people of north western NSW. Kent’s family history goes back to Toorale Station and Granny Moysey’s mob, and to Northern Ireland.

The Gracemakers are renowned headliners around the Melbourne music scene.

They recently supported Hawksley Workman from Canada and will be playing alongside Bart Willoughby, The Last Kinection and Emma Donovan at the Yalukit Willam Ngargee Festival on Febuary the 4th.
